It's the spring of 1917. You are a Canadian nurse working in a makeshift hospital in Belgium to treat and comfort soldiers. Reports are spreading that German bombers are coming to attack the hospital where you are working. Your friend asks you to leave work with her and find a shelter away from possible attack. You have promised your family that you will come home safely. Do you go with your friend or stay at work?
I would go with my friend because I wouldn't want a bomb to be dropped on me if I decided to stay at work I would rather be safe and leave work before anything bad happens
ReplyDeleteI would stay because I would feel like a coward running and because I would be abandoning patients that have no choice but to stay. Plus the chances of Germans bombing the hospital are 50/50, it may not even happen.
ReplyDeleteI would stay at work, I wouldn't lave behind the soldiers and other nurses at the hospital. I may have promised my family I would return home safely but it doesn't mean anything if I cant protect the others around me. It would be scary to know that there are potential bombs are coming, but leaving behind innocent and injured people in a time of need would leave me feeling like I was the one who killed them, I left them behind and it would haunt me to know what I had done.
ReplyDeleteI would want to stay with the soldiers who need me and id want my friends to stay and help me. Ride and die together. Plus its not a 100% thing that they will bomb. id take my chances and stay.
ReplyDeleteI would stay and work. who cares about the bombing? you gotta stay and save lives. #YOLO
