This painting was created by Richard Harpum .Richard Harpum was born in Bromley England  in 1951.He liked to paint from a young age. He became a prolific painter, then he got into oil painting when he was 12. He has a master of arts degree from Cambridge University. He was not in ww1.

I think the viewer will get a sad feeling. The artist probably hated the war. No I think the portray is not accurate to the war
