“Night Patrol, No Man’s Land”
Created By George Harding (1918)
George Harding (1882–1959) was born in Philadelphia.
Harding did not take place in any wars. Harding was a war artist for the United States Army during World War 1. All of his paintings are the things he witnessed during the war.
The picture gives a deathly tone. It shows men killing each other in trenches. The feeling it shows us is bravery. Harding probably did not enjoy the war because of all the deaths he's witnessed.
I think this piece of art accurately portrays what the war was like because obviously many people died or were seriously injured.
